Responsibility
- Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections of cooling system components to identify defects, damages, or deviations from specifications.
- Perform detailed quality checks using specialized tools, gauges, and testing equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document and report defects, non-conformities, and inspection results in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality control procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements for cooling systems.
- Assist in the development and improvement of quality assurance processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring defects and propose solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety guidelines and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or defect checking, preferably in manufacturing or cooling system industries.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and defect identification for mechanical components.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges) and familiarity with testing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document findings and prepare reports.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
