Responsibility
- Design and develop fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, suppression systems) for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
- Create accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimations for fire safety installations.
- Ensure all designs comply with NFPA, local regulations, and international fire safety codes.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to integrate fire protection solutions seamlessly.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend fire safety improvements for existing structures.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for fire protection installations.
- Provide on-site inspections and troubleshooting during system implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in fire protection system design and estimation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HydraCAD, or similar CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA, FM Global, and local fire safety regulations.
- Experience with BOM creation, cost estimation, and project management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certification in Fire Protection Engineering (CFPS, PE, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a multicultural team environment.
