Responsibility
- Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, performing routine checks and troubleshooting as needed.
- Monitor production processes to identify and resolve issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing output.
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace to comply with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and engineering, to improve manufacturing processes.
- Document production data, including output metrics, equipment performance, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.
- Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a technical role.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to operate and maintain manufacturing machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure product quality and process efficiency.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
