Responsibility
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing associates to ensure high performance, engagement, and adherence to company values.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor daily production activities to meet output targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in workflows, equipment utilization, and resource allocation to enhance efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce strict compliance with GMP, ISO, and other regulatory standards to maintain product integrity and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Champion a zero-incident culture by ensuring all team members follow safety protocols and participate in training.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report KPIs (e.g., productivity, defect rates, downtime) and take corrective actions as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality control, and logistics teams to resolve bottlenecks and support new product introductions.
- Training & Development: Conduct on-the-job training and upskill team members on new technologies, SOPs, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in manufacturing supervision, preferably in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or precision engineering.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage teams of 10+ members, with a track record of improving performance and morale.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP software, and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with FDA, ISO 13485, or other industry-specific quality standards.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills to liaise with global teams and stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
