Responsibility
- Lead and initiate quality improvement projects related to product design, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance product yield, reduce defects, and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and supply chain, to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality policies.
- Train and mentor production teams on quality best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in audits, both internal and external, to maintain and enhance quality certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or a related role within a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies.
- Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, 8D Problem Solving).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software (e.g., ERP, MES) and quality inspection tools is a plus.
