Responsibility
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues on plant machinery during production to minimize downtime.
- Establish, schedule, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans for all manufacturing assets.
- Analyze machine performance data and implement process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with quality and production departments to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and product defects.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new manufacturing machinery and automated systems.
- Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities strictly comply with workplace safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Document technical maintenance procedures, machinery logs, and prepare comprehensive engineering reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in manufacturing plant engineering or maintenance environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting industrial machinery, PLC control units, and automation systems.
- Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), and safety standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to technical details.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
