Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for insurance-related software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure software stability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans and reports.
- Analyze business requirements and user stories to develop effective test scenarios.
- Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to provide testing insights.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in manual software testing, with a focus on the Insurance domain.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Familiarity with insurance industry standards, regulations, and workflows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
