Responsibility
- Translate technical documents, manuals, and production reports from Mandarin to Indonesian/English and vice versa.
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, training sessions, and factory tours involving Mandarin-speaking clients or colleagues.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing bilingual correspondence, including emails, memos, and official communications.
- Collaborate with the Production Department to ensure accurate understanding of specifications, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain a glossary of industry-specific terminology to ensure consistency in translations.
- Support the coordination of logistics and supply chain communications with Mandarin-speaking suppliers or partners.
- Facilitate cross-cultural understanding by clarifying nuances in language and business practices.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) and Indonesian; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in translation, interpretation, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of technical terminology related to production, engineering, or plastics technology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and translation tools (e.g., CAT tools) is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate or commute to Badung, Bali.
