We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Mandarin Translator & External Relations Officer to join our team in Kalimantan Selatan. Responsibility
- Provide accurate oral and written translation (Mandarin-Indonesian-English) for management and internal departments.
- Facilitate communication during meetings, negotiations, and site visits with external Chinese-speaking partners.
- Manage the reception of high-profile guests and ensure strict adherence to international business etiquette and protocols.
- Draft, translate, and proofread official business documents, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate external relations activities and maintain positive relationships with government and industry stakeholders.
- Prepare and organize meeting agendas, briefings, and presentation materials.
- Assist in the smooth execution of administrative workflows and cross-departmental coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mandarin Literature, International Relations, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Proven professional fluency in Mandarin (HSK 5 or above preferred) and Indonesian; English proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in external relations, translation, or executive secretarial support.
- Deep understanding of business protocols and professional etiquette in a multicultural environment.
- Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in document drafting and office productivity software (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace).
- Willingness to be based in Kalimantan Selatan.
