Responsibility
- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in Mandarin and English, aligning with early childhood education best practices.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
- Assess and monitor each child’s developmental progress, providing personalized support and feedback to parents.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to develop thematic units, incorporating play-based and inquiry-based learning approaches.
- Organize and participate in school events, cultural celebrations, and parent-teacher conferences to strengthen community engagement.
- Integrate technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences and keep students motivated.
- Uphold classroom management policies to ensure a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Continuously update teaching methods and materials based on the latest early childhood education research and trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field. A teaching certification is a plus.
- Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) and proficiency in English.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching young children (ages 3-6) in a kindergarten or early learning setting.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and hands-on experience with play-based learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Creative, patient, and adaptable with a genuine passion for working with young learners.
- Familiarity with digital tools and educational technology is an advantage.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and embrace its multicultural community.
