Responsibility
- Design and deliver interactive Mandarin lessons tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating songs, stories, and hands-on activities.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and social development.
- Assess and monitor studentsâ progress in language acquisition, motor skills, and social-emotional growth, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to develop bilingual curriculum materials aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Organize and lead cultural events, festivals, and themed activities to immerse students in Mandarin traditions and customs.
- Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates, meetings, and progress reports.
- Uphold classroom safety, hygiene, and organizational standards in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training to enhance teaching methodologies.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin (HSK Level 5 or above) with excellent English communication skills.
- Bachelorâs degree in Early Childhood Education, Linguistics, or a related field (TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Mandarin to young learners (preschool or kindergarten preferred).
- Passion for child-centered learning and the ability to engage children through creative, age-appropriate methods.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive, disciplined learning environment.
- Familiarity with early childhood development theories and best practices in bilingual education.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (work visa sponsorship provided for qualified candidates).
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) for child safety compliance.
