Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation roadmap aligned with the hospital’s mission and long-term goals.
- Project Management: Oversee end-to-end innovation projects, from ideation and feasibility studies to pilot testing and full-scale implementation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with clinicians, administrators, and external partners to identify unmet needs and co-create impactful solutions.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., AI, telemedicine, IoT) to improve healthcare outcomes and patient experiences.
- Process Optimization: Streamline workflows and systems to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate service quality.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary team of innovators, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track KPIs to measure the success and ROI of innovation initiatives.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the hospital at industry conferences, publish insights, and position Changi as a leader in healthcare innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in innovation management, healthcare consulting, or a similar leadership role, preferably in a hospital or medical setting.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare trends, regulatory frameworks, and digital transformation in medicine.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with healthcare technologies (EHR, AI diagnostics, telehealth) and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to address complex challenges with innovative solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate vision and gain buy-in at all levels.
