Responsibility
- Lead and manage daily merchandising activities, including product placement, visual merchandising, and inventory control to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee retail operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, manage procurement processes, and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Develop and implement strategic merchandising plans to align with seasonal trends, promotions, and business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory turnover, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of retail initiatives.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff to enhance their skills in merchandising, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports on merchandising performance, operational metrics, and budget adherence for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or a similar role, preferably in a managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and managing inventory effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in retail management software, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of visual merchandising principles and best practices to enhance product presentation and customer engagement.
