Responsibility
- Lead the strategic planning, design, and deployment of digital infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Oversee the management and optimization of cloud-based platforms, data centers, and network architectures to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to assess infrastructure needs, identify gaps, and implement solutions that enhance performance and user experience.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for digital infrastructure governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Drive cost-efficiency initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies, vendor partnerships, and resource allocation strategies.
- Mentor and lead a team of infrastructure specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of digital infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in managing digital infrastructure, including cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, and cybersecurity.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, and Agile methodologies, with experience in implementing these frameworks in large-scale environments.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to anticipate and mitigate infrastructure risks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNP, ITIL v4) are highly desirable.
