Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, HVAC units, and electrical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize operational disruptions.
- Install, test, and commission new equipment and systems as required, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment.
- Assist in the training of warehouse staff on the safe and efficient use of equipment and facilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Facilities Technician, or similar role in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Maintenance (preferred but not required).
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, conveyor systems, and HVAC units.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and generating reports.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
