As a key contributor, you will be responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and optimization of these systems, ensuring they function efficiently to support water conservation efforts. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a passion for environmental sustainability, technical problem-solving, and community impact. You will collaborate with school administrators, local authorities, and our project team to maintain high standards of system performance and reliability.

Responsibility

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on 50+ rainwater harvesting systems installed in schools across Bali.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components of rainwater harvesting systems.
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization to enhance water conservation efficiency.
  • Collaborate with school staff and local authorities to ensure seamless operation and compliance with safety standards.
  • Document maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and system upgrades, in detailed reports.
  • Provide training and guidance to school personnel on basic system operation and maintenance best practices.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary parts and equipment for system repairs.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, preferably with water systems, plumbing, or mechanical equipment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
  • Strong understanding of rainwater harvesting systems or water conservation technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with school staff, local authorities, and team members.
  • Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between school locations in Bali.
