Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems within residential properties.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, facilities, and equipment to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or property management, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, renovations, or installations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory of supplies, and service logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies in all maintenance operations.
- Assist in emergency response procedures, including fire safety, flood prevention, and power outage protocols.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives by implementing energy-efficient practices and waste reduction strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in building maintenance, property management, or a related field.
- Technical proficiency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC systems; certification is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with residents, team members, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software or digital work order systems is advantageous.
- Physical stamina and willingness to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
