Responsibility
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with minimal supervision.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Inspect and test equipment to identify potential failures and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and industry regulations at all times.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or system upgrades.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
