Responsibility
- Perform post-processing operations on PVD sputtering targets and evaporation materials, including cutting, grinding, polishing, and cleaning to meet precise specifications.
- Operate and maintain backend production equipment such as CNC machines, lapping machines, and ultrasonic cleaners with strict adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Conduct dimensional inspections and quality checks using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) to ensure products meet engineering standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot process issues, optimize workflows, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document production data, including process parameters, inspection results, and non-conformance reports, in compliance with ISO and industry standards.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of finished products for shipment, ensuring proper handling and traceability.
- Adhere to strict EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines, including proper use of PPE and hazardous material handling procedures.
- Support cross-functional teams in R&D projects for new material development and process optimization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in backend production, precision machining, or semiconductor/materials manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with PVD sputtering, evaporation materials, or thin film processing is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, lapping/polishing equipment, or similar precision tools.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Basic knowledge of metallurgy, ceramics, or composite materials is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or other quality management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
