Responsibility
- Lead and execute preventive maintenance programs for finishing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective actions to restore functionality swiftly.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation for compliance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
- Recommend and assist in the procurement of spare parts and tools to support maintenance needs.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
- Participate in equipment upgrades and installations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
