Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing, and kitchen machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Collaborate with the operations team to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Monitor and manage facility utilities, such as water, electricity, and gas, to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on the safe and efficient use of equipment and systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in hospitality, food service, or industrial settings.
- Technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, or facilities maintenance (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices, including OSHA or local equivalent standards.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
