Responsibility
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and systems to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
- Respond to maintenance requests from staff and guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects and improvements.
- Provide emergency maintenance support as needed, including after-hours and weekend availability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role, preferably in hospitality or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and operating tools.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and communicating with the team.
- Valid certification or license in a relevant trade (e.g., plumbing, electrical) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
