Responsibility
- Install, assemble, and commission elevators and lifts according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to coordinate installation timelines and deliverables.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to execute installations accurately.
- Ensure all work adheres to local safety protocols and industry best practices.
- Provide on-site training and guidance to junior technicians or apprentices as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Lift Installer, Elevator Technician, or similar role in the elevator industry.
- Technical certification or diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of elevator systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with local safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., EN 81, ASME A17.1).
- Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
