Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate all maintenance, repair, and renovation activities across the hotel premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
- Manage a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of all work orders.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of hotel assets.
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with all local safety regulations, fire codes, and environmental standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly, prioritizing guest safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality or luxury property sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; additional knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or similar software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
