Responsibility
- Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacements.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during all maintenance operations.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff to enhance their technical skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
