Responsibility
- Oversee and manage all maintenance operations within the hotel, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's physical structure, systems, and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely and cost-effective services.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring quick and efficient resolution of issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards related to building maintenance and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a maintenance management role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
