Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance, repair, and inspection activities for elevator and escalator systems to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend system lifespan.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, technical proficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular site audits and risk assessments to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to address service requests, resolve escalations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in maintenance processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Relevant certifications (e.g., elevator maintenance, safety) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in elevator/escalator maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of elevator and escalator systems, including hydraulic, traction, and machine-room-less (MRL) technologies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop technical staff.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools for scheduling, reporting, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with local and international safety standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA, or equivalent).
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
