Responsibility
- Lead the technical design, planning, and implementation of solar PV systems and electrical projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield analyses to optimize project performance.
- Develop and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and system layouts in compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, providing regular reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Perform quality assurance and testing (e.g., insulation resistance, IV curve tracing) to validate system performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site support during construction and post-installation phases.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, as well as local permitting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., P.E., PV Designer) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical project engineering, with a focus on solar PV, power distribution, or industrial electrical systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, PVSyst, ETAP, or similar design and simulation software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and grid interconnection requirements (e.g., PLN regulations for Indonesia).
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Indonesia and the Philippines as needed.
