Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely and efficient repair of airport ground support equipment (GSE) and workshop machinery.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and extend operational lifespan.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure compliance with aviation safety standards (e.g., IATA, ICAO).
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations and logistics, to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to airport services.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels while optimizing cost efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices, safety protocols, and the use of advanced diagnostic tools.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as equipment uptime, mean time between failures (MTBF), and maintenance costs, and implement improvements as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related field. Diploma holders with extensive experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the aviation, logistics, or heavy equipment industry.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of technicians in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems used in airport ground support equipment (e.g., baggage carts, loaders, pushback tractors).
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and diagnostic software for equipment troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance challenges.
- Certification in OSHA, IATA, or other relevant safety standards is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
