Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure maximum availability and reliability of all equipment and machinery.
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions to prevent equipment failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends, optimize processes, and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in maintenance operations.
- Manage budgets, procurements, and vendor relationships for maintenance-related activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability in engineering processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the manufacturing or steel industry.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team of maintenance professionals.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex engineering issues.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
