Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Respond promptly to guest and team member requests for repairs, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Conduct inspections of hotel facilities, identifying potential issues and implementing proactive solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of tools and supplies.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, Hilton’s operational standards, and sustainability initiatives.
- Assist in emergency situations (e.g., power outages, water leaks) with a calm and efficient approach.
- Support energy-saving initiatives by optimizing system performance and recommending upgrades.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general carpentry.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
