Responsibility
- Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on facilities, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies during maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance equipment reliability and safety.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and staff on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, equipment repair, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and industrial machinery.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting and maintenance planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, or other relevant safety and quality standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts, as needed.
