As a Maintenance Engineer, you will lead Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Responsibility
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans to enhance equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Lead Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, including autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, and quality maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance KPIs (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, OEE) to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and support operational goals.
- Mentor and train junior maintenance staff to build a high-performing team.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in manufacturing, mining, or heavy industry.
- Proven expertise in TPM, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance KPIs (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, OEE) and data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of SHE compliance and safety regulations in industrial environments.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and maintenance planning tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
