As an M&E Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of our project execution, taking charge of overseeing and coordinating all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installations and activities on site. Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
- Arrange and facilitate RTO (Resident Technical Officer) inspections and testing for M&E installations, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Manage and oversee the performance of M&E subcontractors, including scheduling, quality of work, and adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, identify potential issues, and ensure that safety regulations and quality control procedures are strictly followed.
- Liaise effectively with project managers, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve M&E-related issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and interpret M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submissions, providing clear guidance to the site team and subcontractors.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, track M&E installation progress, and manage material requisitions for M&E components.
- Implement and enforce site safety procedures for all M&E activities, promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an M&E Supervisor or similar role within the construction industry in Singapore.
- Solid understanding of M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical distribution, and ELV systems.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and relevant Singapore standards (e.g., BCA requirements).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively coordinating with various teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting M&E drawings and technical specifications.
- Possession of relevant safety certifications (e.g., BCSS, Work-at-Height) is a plus.
