Responsibility
- Develop and manage cost plans, budgets, and financial forecasts for M&E projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare and evaluate tender documents, bills of quantities, and contract specifications for mechanical and electrical works.
- Conduct procurement activities, including supplier and subcontractor negotiations, to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor and control project expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Administer contracts and final accounts, ensuring compliance with terms and resolving disputes as needed.
- Provide cost advice and risk assessments to stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to align financial plans with technical requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports for audit and review purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, standards, and regulations in Indonesia or international markets.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with fluency in English.
- Experience in tendering, procurement, and contract administration for large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with FIDIC, PWD, or other standard contract forms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
