As a key member of our project team, you will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to provide expert cost estimation, procurement advice, and contract administration. Responsibility
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for M&E projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project scope.
- Conduct tender analysis and evaluations, including comparing bids, negotiating with suppliers, and recommending cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide monthly cost reports to stakeholders with actionable insights.
- Administer contracts and subcontracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms to mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to optimize M&E designs for cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Perform value engineering assessments to identify savings opportunities and improve project profitability.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all financial and procurement activities.
- Resolve commercial disputes and claims, providing expert advice on contractual entitlements and obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on M&E works in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in cost planning, tendering, and contract administration for large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or Primavera) and MS Excel for financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, materials, and industry standards (e.g., NFPA, IEC, or local Indonesian regulations).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with FIDIC, JCT, or other standard construction contracts is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Badung, Bali and work on a contract basis.
