Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to Shangri-La’s luxury standards.
- Ensure all rooms are thoroughly inspected for cleanliness, maintenance needs, and proper supply of amenities.
- Replace and replenish linens, towels, and guest amenities as per established protocols.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or special accommodations.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, including the use of eco-friendly cleaning products.
- Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, reflecting Shangri-La’s values.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Basic English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Commitment to discretion and confidentiality in guest interactions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
