You will collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to produce detailed General Arrangement (GA) plans, Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs), joinery details, elevations, schedules, and specifications using SketchUp and other industry-standard tools. Responsibility
- Develop and coordinate detailed interior documentation packages, including GA plans, RCPs, joinery details, elevations, and schedules.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Create 3D models and renderings in SketchUp to visualize interior spaces and design concepts.
- Prepare and update technical drawings and specifications for luxury residential projects.
- Review and verify drawings for compliance with building codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Provide constructive feedback on design feasibility and material selections.
- Maintain organized digital files and version control for all project documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Interior Drafter or Architectural Drafter, with a portfolio showcasing luxury residential projects.
- Proficiency in SketchUp (mandatory) and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, including GA plans, RCPs, and joinery details.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural and design intent accurately.
- Experience working with Australian standards and clients is a plus.
- Self-motivated with exceptional time management and organizational skills for remote work.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
