Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue for Marriott properties in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung, targeting corporate clients, travel agencies, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including event planners, corporate travel managers, and luxury tour operators, to secure repeat business and referrals.
- Promote The Westinâs Well-Being Movement and other Marriott brands by highlighting unique selling points, such as wellness programs, sustainable practices, and premium amenities.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, competitor trends, and emerging traveler preferences in Baliâs luxury hospitality sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and revenue management, to align sales strategies with property goals and guest expectations.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and packages for group bookings, weddings, corporate events, and individual stays, ensuring profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Represent Marriott at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Track and report sales performance metrics, including revenue targets, conversion rates, and client feedback, to refine strategies and achieve KPIs.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in the luxury hospitality industry, preferably with international hotel brands or high-end resorts.
- Sales Acumen: Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience in B2B and B2C sales, contract negotiation, and account management.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Baliâs tourism market, including key players, travel trends, and competitive landscape.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English skills; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) is a plus.
- Relationship Building: Ability to cultivate long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams through professionalism and trust.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and sales automation tools to manage leads and track performance.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with the flexibility to travel within Bali for client meetings and site inspections.
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience.
