Responsibility
- Welcome and check in guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with empathy and prompt resolution, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Manage front desk operations, including reservations, room assignments, and billing, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Process check-outs, verify guest accounts, and ensure all payments are settled securely and courteously.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs and resolve issues in real time.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide personalized recommendations to guests.
- Uphold brand standards for appearance, communication, and service delivery at all times.
- Assist in administrative tasks, including filing, reporting, and maintaining guest records in compliance with data protection policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a front office or guest services role within the hospitality industry (luxury hotels preferred).
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal); additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
- Proficient in property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Amadeus, or similar; tech-savvy with basic MS Office skills.
- Highly organized, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is advantageous.
