Responsibility

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Coordinate with the front desk and concierge to manage guest transportation, including airport transfers and local travel arrangements.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing a brief orientation of resort amenities and services.
  • Handle luggage storage and retrieval with the utmost care, maintaining a secure and organized system.
  • Assist guests with special requests, such as arranging spa appointments, restaurant reservations, or local tours.
  • Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor, reflecting the luxury standards of the resort.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and common areas are ready for occupancy.
  • Provide concise and accurate information about resort facilities, local attractions, and cultural highlights.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a bellman, porter, or guest services role within a hotel or resort.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a guest-first mindset.
  • Strong physical stamina to lift and carry luggage (up to 25-30 kg) and stand for extended periods.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Russian) is a plus.
  • Impeccable grooming and a professional appearance, adhering to the resort’s dress code.
  • Familiarity with Bali’s geography and tourism industry is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems or property management software is a benefit.
