Responsibility
- Safely operate and maneuver hooklift lorries for the transport of materials within the designated region.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Secure all loads properly according to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery schedules, routes, and collection notes.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and clients to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and workplace safety (WSH) guidelines at all times.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Singapore Class 4 or 5 driving license.
- Proven experience operating hooklift trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under pressure.
- Good command of English and/or local languages for professional communication.
- Willingness to work in the Tuas area and adhere to operational shift requirements.
