Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and minimizing discrepancies.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high productivity.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and transportation teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and generate reports for decision-making.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate critical problems to management with actionable solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics supervision, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or distribution.
- Proven ability to manage inventory systems and implement process improvements in a warehouse setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of motivating staff to meet KPIs.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
