Responsibility
- Supervise and lead a team of logistics staff, including warehouse operatives, drivers, and coordinators, to ensure operational targets are met.
- Oversee daily logistics activities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipment scheduling.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to track performance, productivity, and service quality, identifying areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Enforce safety, compliance, and quality standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and reduce handling times.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalate issues to senior management with actionable solutions.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Proven ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and drive performance in a high-volume logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (IMS), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and logistics software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with lean logistics principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous but not required.
