Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipment statuses, and logistics documentation.
- Resolve discrepancies or delays in shipments by implementing corrective actions and communicating with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse providers.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and legal standards in all logistics operations.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, challenges, and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
