Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit times.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular stock audits.
- Monitor and report on key logistics metrics, such as delivery performance, inventory turnover, and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards in all warehouse and distribution activities.
- Resolve logistical issues proactively, including delays, discrepancies, or supply chain disruptions.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for shipments, including bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery confirmations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles, shipping procedures, and local/regional logistics regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or holidays, as required by operational needs.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, moving, or inspecting goods (up to 25 kg).
- Familiarity with cold storage or perishable goods handling is a plus.
