Responsibility
- Coordinate and monitor import and export shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Prepare, verify, and manage all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international suppliers to resolve logistics-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software and provide accurate updates to stakeholders on shipment status, delays, or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade laws, including tariffs, duties, and import/export restrictions.
- Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency in supply chain operations.
- Maintain organized records of all logistics transactions, communications, and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, warehouse, finance) to align logistics activities with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in logistics coordination, import/export operations, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or international trade environment.
- Strong knowledge of incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data tracking and analysis).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve logistics bottlenecks proactively.
- Familiarity with Bali’s logistics infrastructure and regional trade routes is advantageous.
