Responsibility
- Assist in coordinating daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and update records using logistics software or ERP systems.
- Resolve discrepancies in shipments, such as delays, damages, or missing items, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Support the logistics team in optimizing routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Generate reports on logistics performance, including key metrics like delivery times and inventory turnover.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and external partners.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to address logistics challenges proactively.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures is a plus.
