Responsibility
- Design and implement logic circuits for AI and CPU chips, ensuring optimal performance and power efficiency.
- Develop and execute verification plans to validate the functionality and reliability of semiconductor designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine chip architectures and specifications.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and methodologies for logic synthesis, simulation, and formal verification.
- Identify and resolve design issues, optimizing for speed, area, and power consumption.
- Document design specifications, verification results, and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in semiconductor technology and incorporate best practices into design processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design and verification workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logic design and verification for semiconductor chips, preferably in AI or CPU domains.
- Proficiency in hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
- Strong knowledge of verification methodologies, including UVM, SystemVerilog, and formal verification techniques.
- Experience with EDA tools like Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics for simulation and synthesis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex hardware issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a global team environment.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation and tool development is a plus.
