Responsibility
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures with precision and care.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during all blood collection processes.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen details.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and infection control protocols.
- Prepare and label specimens correctly for laboratory testing.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding pre- and post-collection procedures.
- Manage and maintain phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–5 years of phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Certification in Phlebotomy from a recognized institution.
- Proven ability to perform blood collection confidently and accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and patient needs.
